Our Story
Hello! I’m Jo-Anna, the founder of Fureverdoodles inspired by my beloved Goldendoodle, Coco. If you’re a dog lover, you’ll understand the powerful connection I’m talking about. Let me share my journey.
Eight years ago, I welcomed my first furry companion, into my life—a delightful Shorkie named Java. She is a charming mix of delight and mischief, radiating sweetness in every way. Java quickly became a part of our family, her playfulness bringing joy and laughter to our home. Most importantly, during a challenging time when I faced a chronic health condition, Java offered me unconditional love and comfort, easing my burdens with her gentle presence. Java was not just a pet; she was a mother too. Her sweet nature shone through when she had a couple litters of puppies, each one finding a loving forever home. It warms my heart to say that I still have the pleasure of seeing some of those adorable pups from time to time, which adds to our memories.
My 2 youngest children and I always talked about getting another dog and how we would love to have a Golden Retriever. I was always online looking at postings of dogs for adoption but, our concern about their shedding made me hesitant, this didn’t stop us from looking at pictures and videos of puppies though! Then Three years ago, I saw an advertisement looking for a guardian of a Goldendoodle and since they are mostly non-shedding I thought I would go ahead and apply and see what happens. To my surprise I was accepted to be the guardian of an adorable 8-week-old puppy and the family lived right around the corner from us!
My boys and I fell in love with Coco instantly, and with each passing day, my affection for her grows. For the past two years, I’ve faced another serious health issue. I cannot express how grateful I am to have my family and Coco by my side. Her love is unconditionally pure; she embraces me despite my ups and downs, infusing our home with joy, laughter, and an abundance of love.
Java, too, has played a vital role in our family's well-being. She shares a deep bond with both my parents, and now my dad lovingly cares for her. I have to say, Java is probably the most pampered dog ever!
